Quantum mechanics sets fundamental limits to the accuracy of sensors and the precision of control. This talk shows how peculiarly quantum effects such as entanglement can give rise to significant enhancements in the accuracy of detection, imaging, and measurement, even in the presence of large amounts of noise and loss. |
